Group Delphi hires senior employee to handle museum exhibits

Group Delphi – a merger of three companies that service the tradeshow, event, museum and retail marketplace – chose a new senior project manager for museum exhibits.

Based in the company’s Fort Wayne, Ind. production facility, Ray Davis will be part of Group Delphi’s growing Midwestern presence in the museum fabrication industry and will be involved in managing projects at both the Ft. Wayne and Alameda, Calif. facilities.

“Ray brings a broad level of experience, from design and hands-on fabrication to construction management. He’ll be an excellent addition to our team,” said Bill Nieser, vice president of Museum and Retail Projects, Group Delphi.

Recently, Davis was a senior project manager in the medical division of Three Rivers Construction. Prior to that, he was a senior project manager at Design Craftsmen.

“I’m looking forward to working on the unique museum projects that Group Delphi attracts. Museums are a dynamic field with fascinating people – from astronauts to zoologists,” said Davis.

With more than 25 years of experience in the exhibit industry, Davis’ museum projects include the Great Platte River Road Archway in Kearney, Neb.; the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Mass.; The World We Created exhibit at the Kentucky Science Center in Louisville, Ky.; and numerous other domestic and international projects.

He holds a LEED AP certification, further attesting to Group Delphi’s dedication to sustainable practices.
