Hargrove appoints new sales director

Hargrove, a tradeshow, event and exhibit contractor in the United States, has announced the addition of a business development expert to its growing team and promoted another.

Victor Furnells will serve as the director of tradeshow sales overseeing a seasoned team of industry professionals who manage a wide variety of tradeshows throughout the country.

“As we continue to grow, we need sales strategists like Victor who can build on our past success and position us for even greater growth,” said Tim McGill, CEO, Hargrove.

Furnells brings to Hargrove a diverse professional sales and management background having served as the director of membership for the Consumer Electronics Association, where he consistently exceeded annual revenue goals and increased membership for the organization.

Furnells most recently served as the director of business development for OneSpring, a software-development company focused on driving innovation and enhancing the user experience throughout the requirements process.

Mark Shadwick has been promoted to a new role leading national tradeshow sales efforts in his position as executive director of business-development tradeshow sales. With more than 23 years of experience, Shadwick is a long-term tradeshow industry leader, having been with Hargrove for nearly 10 years, and is well-known for his superb client services. Shadwick previously served as the director of new business for the Chicago Convention & Tourism Bureau. Shadwick will lead the Hargrove sales focus on the national level concentrating on associations with tradeshows.

“We expect Mark to leverage his considerable talents and maximize our sales efforts,” said McGill. “I know both Victor and Mark will do all they can to help carry us forward as we continue to expand and acquire new business.”
