Hargrove veteran promoted to new role

Ron BraccoHargrove, a general contractor for the tradeshow, event and exhibit industries, has announced that a current employee has been promoted to executive director of business and development.

Ron Bracco, who has been with Hargrove for 13 years, will expand his role in developing sales strategies for the events division and focus on building long-term relationships with key accounts nationally.

Bracco has been instrumental in new business acquisition for some of Hargrove’s largest accounts and plays a key leadership role in the management of that business.

“Ron is an incredibly talented member of our team and has played an important leadership role in many of our most high-profile projects including the 2009 Pittsburgh Summit and the current APEC Summit series scheduled to culminate in Hawaii this fall. We look forward to tremendous results from his efforts,” said Tim McGill, CEO of Hargrove.

Bracco has served as the lead on a variety of Hargrove’s most prestigious projects. His resume includes a collection of projects including presidential inaugurals, global summits, high-profile corporate product launches and a variety of Washington, DC’s most high-profile galas. He led efforts to expand Hargrove’s global reach as the company consulted the COEX World Trade Center and government officials in preparation for the country’s hosting of the G20 Summit in 2010.

“Hargrove is at the forefront of the events industry in terms of our capabilities and expansive in house resources,” said Bracco. “Our clients, who often plan high-profile events, rely on our ability to offer unique solutions and create experiences which deliver lasting results. My role will be to focus on ensuring we’re delivering on a strategic level while helping bring our clients’ vision to life in an event environment.”
