The Healthcare Convention and Exhibitors Association (HCEA) is currently accepting nominations for its Distinguished Service Award, which recognizes esteemed professionals who have made significant contributions to HCEA or to the healthcare convention marketing and exhibitions industry through the years.
This lifetime achievement award is intended to honor leaders with at least 10 years of experience in the healthcare convention marketing and exhibitions industry. Nominated individuals do not have to be members of HCEA.
The award is not necessarily presented every year, but only when HCEA’s nominating committee and board of directors determines there is an eligible candidate. If there is a winner this year, he or she will be honored at the 2010 HCEA Annual Meeting June 26-29 in New Orleans.
Nominations for worthy individuals are due no later than March 1 and should be sent to HCEA Headquarters, attn: Eric Allen, at 1100 Johnson Ferry Road, Suite 300, Atlanta, GA 30342. Eligibility guidelines and a nomination form are available at HCEA’s website at www.hcea.org.
