Visit Loudoun has named Heidi Hallows director of sales. She brings more than 20 years of hospitality and tourism experience to the role.
Hallows will work with the Visit Loudoun team and its industry partners. Together, they will focus on growing meetings and group business throughout Loudoun County, Virginia.
Previously, Hallows served as director of sales for the Eastern Region at Choose Chicago. Before moving into destination sales, she spent more than 17 years in the hotel industry.
Her hotel career included senior sales roles with the Marriott St. Louis Grand and Marriott Wardman Park in Washington, D.C. She began her career with Marriott International in 2007.
“Representing an entire destination gave me a broader perspective on the meetings industry,” Hallows said. She added that the experience gave her “an even greater appreciation for the impact groups and meetings can have on a community.”
Now, Hallows will bring her hotel and destination sales experience together in the new role.
“This job allows me to bring those two perspectives together while working alongside our team and industry partners to grow meetings and group business,” Hallows said.
