High profile speakers at The Meetings Show

Leading domestic and international organizations will deliver content and take part in this year’s Meetings Show’s association meetings conference on Jul. 7. Also attending at The Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre will be Kenes Group, CIRFS: European Man-made Fibres Association, Contendam, and the European CanCer Organization.

The Meetings Show’s association focused education program will produce an array of international speakers to an international audience aimed on the business of association conferences and meetings.

“This is not about generic association management but a specific focus on the successful organisation and delivery of association events,” said Association Meetings Conference Chair and CPL Events Managing Director Linda Pereira. “We have sourced a wide variety of high profile speakers from associations, AMCs, PCOS and corporates to create a truly international line up of top level meetings experts.”

Focused on two directions, one on the needs of association staff and the other on AMCs / PCOs, the event will bring in experts and leaders from the association meeting’s world to discuss new opportunities, challenges, effective business models, income generation, compliance affecting domestic associations and those with an international membership. Intimate and focused, this format has been chosen to maximize both the learning experience and the creation of relationships.

“The Meetings Show was established as an event organized by meetings professionals for meetings professionals, and the focus of our Association Meetings Conference confirms just how close we are to the sector. We are not just a highly successful marketplace, but also a meeting place where individuals can gather to share ideas, voice their opinions and grow the industry for the benefit of all,” said Steve Knight, event director, The Meetings Show.
