The International Association of Exhibitions and Event (IAEE) announced a partnership with the Europe Congress Event Solution (ECES) to host qualified exhibition organizers and co-produce educational content at the MCE Event for Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) in Bucharest, Romania.
Taking place on Feb. 9-11, 2014, the MCE Event aims to showcase the massive potential and unique economic value offered by the Central and Eastern European regions to event organizers and corporate event planners, encouraging them to engage in business with those regions.
“We are excited to work with ECES on this strategic initiative and increase awareness about IAEE in Europe in an ongoing effort to embrace new partners in collaborative efforts,” said David DuBois, president and CEO, IAEE. “IAEE’s priority is to strategically provide new global opportunities for our members so they can maximize their potential for success around the world.”
To effectively engage attendees at the MCE Event, IAEE will host educational sessions focusing on expertise and best practices for the exhibitions and events industry, in addition to the Certified in Exhibition Management Learning Program. Attendees will have additional opportunities to get a deeper understanding of the exhibitions and events industry during these sessions.
“We are delighted to have partnered with IAEE, and we believe that this strategic partnership will help to drive ECES forward as a leader in the travel, tourism and exhibitions industry in Europe,” said Romain Bouchariat, project manager, ECES. “The education program is an important element of the event, and it is key that we continue to deliver relevant content which supports the business objectives of our attendees.”
Founded in 1928, IAEE represents more than 8,300 individuals who conduct and support exhibitions around the world. More than 55 percent of its members are directly involved in the planning, management and production of exhibitions.
