IAEE congratulates 2009 CEMs

The International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE) recently congratulated the graduates of its 2009 CEM Learning Program. The 2009 recipients of the Certified in Exhibition Management (CEM) designation were recognized during Expo! Expo! IAEE’s Annual Meeting and Exhibition held Dec. 8-10 in Atlanta.



The 2009 CEM Learning Program yielded 211 graduates including 71 from the United States, 15 from Canada, 8 from Mexico, 5 from Europe, 27 from Korea and 85 from China.

The CEM designation, created in 1975, is recognized globally throughout the exhibitions and events industry as the premier mark of professional achievement. Participation in the CEM Learning Program offers an opportunity to secure the most relevant and practical education available in exhibition and event management. Programming is conducted globally through IAEE’s network of licensees. In the United States, participants must complete a nine-part program within three years to earn the CEM designation.
