IAEE introduces CEM learning program in Brazil

International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE), the largest association of the exhibitions and events industry in the world, announced it will offer its successful Certified in Exhibition Management (CEM) Learning Program in Brazil.

In partnership with UBRAFE, the Brazilian tradeshow organization, IAEE will offer the first CEM courses in Portuguese this summer to the Brazilian exhibitions and events market. More than 2,000 professionals globally hold the strongly desired CEM designation.

“The exhibitions and events industry throughout Brazil is thriving. Industry professionals will attain the same knowledge base and skillset provided by the global certification,” said Skip Cox, chairperson, IAEE. “To ensure that we exceed the learning objectives of participants, the CEM program has been customized to account for cultural differences and different business practices in Brazil.”

The Certified in Exhibition Management (CEM) designation was created in 1975 to supply a professional place for individuals in the exhibition industry. Created to boost professional standards, the designation is seen throughout the industry as the premier mark of professional achievement. The CEM Learning Program is a global designation offered in the U.S., Canada, China, Korea, Mexico, Portugal, Singapore, Spain and Taiwan.
