IAEE-TV officially launched according to the International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE), a large association for the exhibitions and events industry.
IAEE partnered with the Convention News Television (CNTV), which covers tradeshow news, to start the bi-monthly newscast that is designed to highlight best practices as well as showcase new concepts initiated by IAEE members.
“Newscasts are designed to bring members’ exhibitions to life. Students and young professionals searching for real-world content about the exhibitions and events industry will be able to see and hear the attendees, exhibitors and organizers express their expectations, challenges and successes from the show floor,” said David DuBois, president, IAEE and CMP, CAE, FASAE, CTA. “This aligns with our plan of leadership in promoting the industry and educating members.”
Timely news and trends in the face-to-face marketplace will be featured as well as breaking news impacting the industry. The newscast will also communicate the advantages of digital technology to enhance news and information sent to IAEE members.
“We hope this partnership will further demonstrate CNTV’s commitment to the convention and tradeshow industry to assist them if using today’s technology to enhance their events,” said Bill Peeper, vice president of sales and marketing, CNTV.
Interviews and discussions with members and industry leaders will be conducted using Skype. Online distribution of the news program will include IAEE’s website and blog as well as email and YouTube.
