Atlanta, Las Vegas and High Point, N.C.-based International Market Centers has announced a series of promotions in its Events Sales and Operations division, aimed at building business and increasing usage of its convention and meeting spaces—including the Atlanta Convention Center and the new EXPO at World Market Center Las Vegas.
“The reorganization of IMC’s Events Sales and Operations division allows IMC to more actively sell and market our exposition facilities as the premier space for both large- and small-scale events,” says IMC CEO Bob Maricich (pictured left). “These promotions recognize the hard work and tremendous achievements of our talented IMC team and lay the foundation for the return and growth of in-person events hosted by IMC as well as by other third-party groups.”
Joel Weston (pictured right) has been promoted to manager, tradeshow operations. Weston assumes responsibility for executing tradeshow operations and will assist with amenities and food and beverage operations at IMC’s 17 High Point properties. Weston has been at IMC for five years. He reports to Jennifer Muna, vice president, event sales and operations.
