IMC_di, the new digital innovation division of International Market Centers, announces its second wave of new hires, with the addition of another 17 new staff for sales, development, implementation, marketing and customer success.
“We are ramping up our staffing quickly to meet both short-term industry needs and long-term strategic objectives,” says Eric Dean, president of IMC_di. “We’ve expanded our customer success team to help onboard hundreds of expected new suppliers to our ShopZio B2B platform following IMC’s offer of free use through year-end. At the same time, our rapidly growing team of experienced technologists is enhancing our software solutions and developing the fully-integrated B2B industry platform that IMC_di will launch this fall.”
IMC_di welcomes Teddy Pekalski as sales director, with responsibility for strategic planning, customer relationships and sales enablement as well as collaboration between physical and digital markets. Pekalski, a well-known figure in the gift and home industry, joined Whereoware in 2014 as sales manager. He serves on the Board of Directors of Gift for Life, the gift and home industry’s sole charitable organization, and is a member GIFT SHOP’s “40 under 40” Class of 2019.
Other new hires will support IMC_di’s programming, development and customer support needs. Working from IMC_di’s offices in Juno Beach, Fla., and Chantilly, Va., newly staffed positions include: back end developer, customer onboarding, front end developer, product manager, QA engineer, scrum delivery lead, tech lead, UI developer and UX/UI designer.
With these latest additions, IMC_di has hired 30 new staff since its launch in January 2020. In total, the IMC_di staff now numbers more than 70.
