Imprint Plus gains industry-wide recognition at 2013 SGIA Expo

The Specialty Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA) announced the winners of the acclaimed Golden Image Award Competition at the SGIA Expo, held Oct. 23-25, 2013, at the Orlando Convention Center in Orlando, Fla. The annual competition evaluates and judges hundreds of entries in a multitude of categories to determine the leaders in industry excellence.

Imprint Plus, a manufacturer of customized, re-useable name badge and signage systems, received the Gold and Silver awards for screen printing for Schlegel Villages and Dulux name badges respectively. It also received the Gold award for Sublimation on behalf of Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo name badge and Honorable Mention for The Mighty Sign in Unique Applications.

“Winning multiple awards puts Imprint Plus among the top specialty printers in the world in terms of quality and capability,” said Marla Kott, CEO, Imprint Plus. “To be awarded two Gold, one Silver and an Honorable Mention in this esteemed industry-wide competition is winning a triple crown. Our work was compared to the best in the world, and our imaging team proved they are exceptional.”

The Golden Image competition is judged on the technical accomplishments of each entry, excluding aesthetic issues from the evaluation and scoring process. Prints are judged on the level of difficulty and quality of execution.
