Cathy Marie Trapani, 60, was proud to be a Teamster employee setting up all types of Las Vegas conventions.
After beating breast cancer and continuing treatment for her back pain, she unfortunately lost her fight with the COVID-19 virus.
Cathy was born in Bridgeport Conn., moved to Las Vegas as a child and graduated from Clark High School in 1979. She was a bright spark in this world and will be deeply missed by many many friends. Her warm demeanor was infectious and her laugh, a comfort to the ear. She was always ready to help anyone in moments of need and she always put friends and family before herself.
Cathy is survived by her daughter Melissa McDonald, her brother Tom Trapani, significant other Rod Ahlstrom, her three stepsisters Patty, Franny and Bonnie and her growing up sister Tina. She was predeceased by her father, Frank; mother, Helen; and sister, Joya.
