Kelly Cotton, 52, passed away on March 11, 2024, at home in Las Vegas. He was born on September 7, 1971, to Doyce Jean Silveria and Bobby Ray Cotton in Las Vegas, Nev.

Kelly grew up in Las Vegas and graduated from Las Vegas High School. He later worked in the tradeshow industry and was a long-time member of the Teamsters Union Local 631. Kelly was known for his dedication and commitment to the tradeshow community, contributing significantly to the success of various events in Las Vegas. He was recognized as one of the strongest and hardest-working employees at Coastal International, where he worked for 18 years.

Throughout his career, Kelly made a lasting impact on his colleagues and the industry. He was instrumental in organizing and managing several high-profile events, showcasing his exceptional skills and work ethic. His colleagues remember him as a reliable and supportive team member who always went above and beyond to ensure the success of every project.

“Kelly was a longtime friend and work partner he will be missed by many,” said Ryan Worrell. “RIP my friend.”

In his personal life, Kelly was a devoted family man. He met his beloved spouse, Sydney, and together they built a life filled with love and joy. Kelly cherished the time spent with his family, often hosting gatherings and creating lasting memories. He was known for his generous spirit, always willing to lend a helping hand to friends and neighbors.

Kelly is survived by his spouse, Sydney Cotton; his brothers, Kelvin Cotton and David Cotton; and his mother, Doyce Silveria, as well as many other family members, friends, and loved ones. His unyielding spirit and generous heart will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew him.

“Miss you dearly my brother,” his brother, David, said. “Love always!”

A Celebration of Life was held on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at 1550 Emerald Oaks Ave., Henderson, NV 89014. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Animal Foundation, reflecting Kelly’s love for animals and his commitment to their welfare.
