We are sad to announce that Shaun Allen Lanikai Gavagan, father, musician and president of AV Images died after a sudden heart attack on Friday, November 12. Shaun’s love of life, friends, family, laughter and music made him an unforgettable presence. His hands-on work ethic, easy laugh and tireless drive made him a leader in all aspects of his life, but especially at the company he founded almost 25 years ago, AV Images.
Shaun will be profoundly missed by his team at AV Images, who plan on honoring Shaun’s legacy by providing the highest standard of service to their clients. A succession plan is in place at the company and an announcement regarding will be forthcoming.
Shaun was most proud of his three daughters, Taryn, Cailin, and Meaghan, in whom he imparted a love for the culture, music and traditions of his beloved home state, Hawaii.
Aloha nui loa, Shaun. Your laughter and ukulele song will be heard in our memories forever.
Viewing for Mr. Gavagan was held Saturday, November 20th, at the Old St. Raymond’s Church, located at 6600 Donolon Way, Dublin, CA 94568.
Shaun’s Memorial Service took place on Sunday, November 21st, at Shannon Center, located at 11600 Shannon Avenue, Dublin, CA 94568.
