For the first time, International Federation of Exhibition and Event Services (IFES), a world organization for exhibit supplier companies and country associations, will hold a workshop aimed at young professionals in the exhibition industry.
The goal of the inaugural Young Professionals Forum is to provide the know-how and network to build the next generation of project managers and executives. A series of workshops will be held for IFES Young Professionals on May 8-10 at Messe Wien in Vienna.
Present to welcome the young professionals will be Bruno Meissner, president, IFES and hostess Christine Opitz, president, I.M. Austria. Participants will attend key note speeches and presentations, workshops, and site inspections to the motto of “MultiSense.”
Fitting with the IFES mission statement, “Sharing Knowledge,” the organization seeks to help exhibitors, through their local suppliers, to gain regional market knowledge and make the exhibiting experience as seamless as possible. Having skilled and trusted world partners is key to achieving global marketing success, according to organizers.
Registration deadline for YPS ends on Apr. 2.
At the IFES World Summit every year, IFES provides educational sessions geared towards a specific world region and highlights local ways of doing tradeshow business. To be held in Delhi, India, the 2014 Summit will be on May 30.
