As part of a continuing effort to provide members and industry peers with new networking opportunities, the Healthcare Convention & Exhibitors Association (HCEA) held its first-ever regional networking event in Atlanta on March 23, 2011.
This reception, attended by 29 people and held on the picturesque outdoor terrace at Villa Christina in Atlanta, follows other successful regional HCEA events in Philadelphia and San Francisco.
The reception was sponsored by Convention Models & Talent Inc. (CMT Agency) and featured lively conversation coupled with food and drink. It also provided an opportunity for healthcare convention marketing professionals new to HCEA to learn more about the organization and to make connections with their industry peers.
“As a supporter of HCEA for several years, we were excited to be a part of this inaugural
networking event in Atlanta,” said Shelly Justice, president and CEO of Convention Models & Talent Inc. (CMT Agency). “There was a great turnout, and I foresee this to be an event that will grow in popularity over time. Thanks to HCEA for asking CMT Agency to sponsor what I hope will be the first of many networking events.”
HCEA is an association solely dedicated to improving the effectiveness of all conventions, medical meetings and exhibitions for the healthcare industry. HCEA represents member organizations involved in healthcare exhibitions and conventions.
