Global event marketing agency Sparks has announced that a new senior vice president has joined the company’s executive team.
In this position, Ben Nazario will play a vital role in the growth and development of Sparks’ exhibits, events and environments divisions.
“We are pleased to welcome Ben to our senior leadership team,” said Scott Tarte, CEO of Sparks. “His broad experience and enthusiastic personality bring a new level of energy to our experiential divisions. We believe he will be an asset to Sparks as we lay the foundation for the next chapter in our very rich history.”
Nazario has held a variety of long-term positions in the tradeshow and event sectors throughout his 25-year career. Most notably, he joined Jack Morton Worldwide’s Denby Exhibits division in 1990, and during his nine-year stint, eventually rose to the rank of vice president of sales. From there, he worked with MC2 for 12 years, most recently as vice president of national accounts.
As an active participant and well-known face at such industry events as HCEA, Exhibitor, CEMA, ABPM and the Event Marketing Summit, Nazario’s knowledge and experience will become critical elements in Sparks’ growth.
“I have been fortunate to have worked with many accomplished professionals on both the agency and client sides,” said Nazario. “Joining Sparks has given me an opportunity to truly apply my industry knowledge and be part of a growth strategy where I can participate in a significant way.”
