On November 12, Informa Markets held their annual Walk the World fundraising event in support of Three Square, an organization that works to eradicate hunger by providing food and groceries to people experiencing food insecurity.
The idea behind Walk the World is simple. Each year colleagues from all over the world get the opportunity to spend time together away from the office, take part in a walk and raise money for local causes that matter to them.
While the basic concept is the same all over the world, every location has its own flavor: colleagues could be walking through a major city like Mumbai or Sao Paulo, climbing up and down peaks in Hong Kong or Switzerland, hiking through the countryside in Auckland or Boulder, or undertaking a marathon-length route through the streets of London.
