Ken Broadbent of Sho-Link passes away

Ken BroadbentOn Sunday, October 23, Ken Broadbent, a member of the Sho-Link family, passed away. He lost his fight against the illness he has been struggling with since early March.

Ken, who was a past director of the EACA from 2007-2008, will be remembered as an instrumental part of what Sho-Link stands for. His loyalty to Sho-Link, and his mentoring of others will remain a guiding factor in Sho-Link’s continuing success. Ken is survived by his wife, Renee, his two daughters, Heather and Brook, his recently born grandson, Nicholas Jr., and three brothers.

Although it was Ken’s wish to not have a formal service, his family asks that if you would like to donate something in his memory, please reach out to Little Company of Mary Hospice in Oak Lawn, Ill.

If you would like to share your condolences with Renee, please email her at kabraej@sbcglobal.net. If you would like Sho-Link to forward your condolences to Renee, please send them to info@sho-link.com.

However, the best way to honor Ken would be to pass along knowledge and mentor others, as he has done. He expressed how glad he was that he attended this year’s Mangers meeting and how proud he was of the people associated with Sho-Link.
