Kingsmen helps bring da Vinci exhibit to Las Vegas

The ultimate Renaissance man has arrived in Las Vegas. Da Vinci – The Genius, the most comprehensive exploration of Leonardo da Vinci’s work ever created, is now open in the Imagine Exhibitions Gallery at The Venetian.


da VinciThe interactive experience is set to run for a limited engagement through October 15.

“Da Vinci – The Genius brings the revolutionary innovations of Leonardo da Vinci to life, showcasing his dynamic brilliance throughout 13 in-depth and engaging exhibits,” said Tom Zaller, president of Imagine Exhibitions Inc. “While everyone has heard his name, few know the full scope of his work. This exhibition salutes da Vinci as a true mastermind through an approachable, enlightening experience.”

Created by Grande Exhibitions, Australia with the assistance of da Vinci experts in Italy and France, the exhibition explores da Vinci’s genius as an inventor, artist, anatomist, sculptor, engineer, musician and architect. Visitors will step into his mind and witness his ideas, inventions and innovations come to life.

Some of the exhibits guests will experience at Da Vinci  The Genius include:

• The Real “Da Vinci Code,” or da Vinci’s version of patenting, which he employed to keep his innovations and ideas top secret. To bring the exhibition to life, artisans scoured more than 6,000 pages from da Vinci’s personal codices (notebooks).

• More than 200 unique pieces including 75 life-size machine inventions crafted by Italian artisans and da Vinci experts, many using techniques and materials from the Renaissance period.

• The Secrets of Mona Lisa exhibit, featuring the findings of French scientific engineer and examiner of fine art, Pascal Cotte. Granted unprecedented access, Cotte took “Mona Lisa” out of its frame to conduct an analysis that revealed dozens of secrets about history’s most elusive art piece.da Vinci

The exhibition was developed by Grande Exhibitions, Australia, the Anthropos Association, Italy, under the kind auspices of the Commune di Roma, Commune di Firenze and Citta Di Venezia and with the assistance of Pascal Cotte of Lumière Technologies, France.

Da Vinci – The Genius is now open daily through October 15 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and is located in the Imagine Exhibitions Gallery at The Venetian near registration.
