The Las Vegas Chapter of the Exhibit Designers and Producers Association (EDPA) will host a breakfast meeting during EXHIBITOR2010 from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. March 17 at Mandalay Bay. In other news, The Living the Brand, Vegas in 2010 luncheon was held Feb. 17 with about 25 members in attendance. The guest speaker, Hugh Sinnock, from the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA), discussed the mission of the authority, its funding, and year-to-date results for the City of Las Vegas. He also shared challenges they face and what is being done to increase visitation.
Looking into the future, the Eighth Annual Tradeshow Education Scholarship Golf Classic will take place on June 10 at the Rhodes Ranch Golf Club in southwest Las Vegas. The proceeds fund scholarships for children whose parents work in the industry.
