‘Lighting Designer’s Zone’ to debut at EuroShop2014

Enhancing the use of lighting in exhibit design and other projects will be featured during EuroShop2014.

euroshop2014_logoTo cater to the growing number of designers who specialize in lighting concepts for retail, EuroShop 2014 will feature a new dedicated platform: the “Lighting Designer’s Zone.” From Feb. 16-20, the lighting segment will occupy the entire Hall 11 with 178,680 square feet of net exhibition space at the fairgrounds located in Düsseldorf, Germany.

The complete spectrum of modern lighting technology and design for store lighting will be presented – from light for promoting sales, light as an emotional design tool in store design and light for corporate concepts to energy-efficient and sustainable architectural lighting. Visitors will get the latest information on current projects and light-planning options and receive expert advice on custom lighting design solutions.

The concept of the Lighting Designer’s Zone will follow the example of the “Designer Village” for architects and designers with a retail focus, which has been a successful part of EuroShop since 2005.

Exhibitors at EuroShop 2014 will showcase their latest products and technologies for store fitting, visual merchandising, IT, security and stand construction on over one million square feet of net exhibit space in 15 halls.

EuroShop 2014 entrance passes and show directories can be purchased online at www.euroshop-tradefair.com in advance of the show at reduced rates. The tickets include free use of all public transportation within the Rhine-Ruhr regional network of Düsseldorf.
