Louisville Convention & Visitors Bureau, which enhances the city’s economy through tourism development, hired two new staff members.
Joining the Bureau are Rosanne Mastin as senior assistant for the Convention Development Department and Taylor Lockard as services assistant in the Bureau Services Department.
Before coming to the Bureau, Mastin worked as an events manager at the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce. As senior assistant, she will be responsible for coordinating other assistants in the department to ensure consistency and quality service and performance standards. She will also assist in preparation of convention sales collateral and prepare weekly convention development reports. She is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a B.A. in Journalism.
Prior to becoming services assistant, Lockard worked part time in the Louisville Visitors Center. In her new position, Lockard will provide administrative support to the services team, ensuring quality guest service to Louisville visitors. She is a graduate of Indiana University with a B.A. in Business Management and minor in Tourism Management.
