Receiving recognition for the 25th consecutive year, the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) was honored by the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) for its fiscal year 2014 budget.
The LVCVA received the association’s Distinguished Budget Presentation Award, which recognizes governmental bodies that prepare budgets. Awarded are those whose budgets are reflective of the GFOA’s best practices along with the guidelines established by the National Advisory Council on State and Local Budgeting.
The Chicago-based GFOA represents more than 17,000 government finance workers in the U.S. and Canada.
