Maritz Travel Company, which consists of Maritz Travel Meetings & Incentives and Experient, has finalized the development of its Maritz Global Meetings Network by welcoming 25 best-in-class global partners to represent nearly 60 key countries. These hand-selected partners enhance Maritz Travel Company’s ability to offer extensive regional knowledge, capabilities and cultural solutions to its clients.
“Since launching the Maritz Global Meetings Network last October at IMEX America, we’ve been diligently searching for and assembling the best partners in key geographic areas to help us provide the right global meetings solutions to our clients,” said David Peckinpaugh, president, Maritz Travel Company. “The collective expertise represented by our company and our partners in the Maritz Global Meetings Network is astonishing – we can seamlessly design and deliver exceptional meeting experiences for our clients anywhere in the world at any time.”
Partners were chosen in key geographic regions where client demand is high – Asia Pacific; Europe, the Middle East and Africa; and Latin America. The partners are:
ID Events Australia
Moloney & Kelly Travel
The Maritz Global Meetings Network is guided by Maritz Travel Company’s three global general managers – Ben Goedegebuure, Eduardo Chaillo and Ping He – who are industry-recognized veterans with more than 75 years of combined experience.
“Our partners are indispensable in helping us create culturally responsive experiences for our clients – whether corporate, association or tradeshow,” said Ben Goedegebuure, global general manager of Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Maritz Travel Company. “Not only will we rely on them to provide unique regional expertise, they can help us operate more effectively and efficiently on behalf of our clients while helping us navigate local practices, languages cultures and business ethics, and ensuring we are complying with governmental regulations, taxes and currencies.”
Operating as professional congress organizers (PCOs), each partner possesses expertise within their region in addition to sharing similar philosophies, ethics and values with Maritz Travel Company – an essential part of the partnership.
“Together with our partners, we are embarking on a journey to bring something new to the meetings industry – a true, collaborative approach to global meetings that translates into real benefits for clients,” Peckinpaugh said.
