Marquis Exhibits Adds Staff

Marquis Exhibits, a full-service exhibit house founded in early 2018 specializing in custom rental tradeshow solutions as well as tradeshow and event logistical services, has begun adding to its staff.

Crystal Langreder was hired in March as an account manager, but has also added graphics as well as de facto office manager to her daily routine. Langreder has been in the event industry for almost 20 years. She enjoys coaching her son in football and basketball and says she’s “grateful to be a part of such a great team and looking forward to the next part of my journey of self growth in this industry.”

“Crystal has a motor that is always running and she doesn’t stop until she gets the job done,” says Joseph Holgado, president of Marquis Exhibits. “Her energy and ability to tackle so many different tasks makes her the kind of valued asset when a company such as Marquis is looking to scale up.”

Langreder joins Account Manager Eve Bailey, Senior Project Manager and CAD engineer Jim Bernhardt and Warehouse and Operations lead William Bonwell.

Bailey joined Marquis Exhibits as an account manager, and Marquis’ first full-time employee. Her experience in tradeshows began as an exhibit coordinator in California for a sailboat hardware manufacturer, then to managing the exhibit program for an international slot machine manufacturer, after moving to Las Vegas. From there, she joined Heritage Displays as an account executive and remained in sales for Freeman Decorating, selling first I & D labor, then custom exhibits and furnishings.

After spending time in GES’ Exhibitor Services Dept, as a service executive she “found her passion” as an account manager in their Exhibit & Design Dept. She maintained that same title and enthusiasm when she joined the Marquis Exhibits family in July 2018, a position she says is a “great job—with great people—who are a great team!”

“Eve has been with us right from the get go and she is an absolute integral part of the Marquis team,” says Holgado. “Her passion and work ethic are unmatched.”

Senior Project Manager and CAD engineer Bernhardt broke into the tradeshow industry in 1997 working for Exhibit Group/Giltspur which he says, “until now, that was the most fun place I have worked. Marquis Exhibits has given me a new lease on life.”  He is the father of two teenagers and an 11-year-old who thinks he’s a teenager. Bernhardt has lived the past 22 years in Brighton, a suburb of Rochester, New York. Bernhardt says, “The things I enjoy most are fishing with my kids, a Guinness, a few fingers of bourbon and a good cigar with my friends.

“I have known Jim for over 20 years and as we began the search for help filling out our operations team, Jim was the first person we wanted to talk to,” says Holgado. “His expertise, commitment to detail, and willingness to go above and beyond make him invaluable to Marquis now and for the long term.”

Bonwell joined Marquis Exhibits full time in May of 2018 as warehouse and operations lead to help the company move into its new headquarters. He is a proud father of two and a black belt in Jiu Jitsu. He’s been in the convention industry for more than 20 years and loves the challenge of a new booth or a client who is looking for the next level of attention and service.   In his free time, he likes to teach Jiu Jitsu to anyone willing to learn, or just getting lost in the wilderness.

“Will was hired to wear many hats, including, but not limited to, helping to move into and organize our brand-new warehouse and office space, pre-staging and prepping jobs to leave our facility and also being on site—whether it be Las Vegas or anywhere in the country we need a booth to be supervised,” says James Bastille, vice president of operations. “Will has a passion for the industry that you can see, hear and feel when you are around him.  We are lucky to have him at Marquis.”
