The “40 Under 40” awards have named a
Peter Abraham, sales manager for the Cape Cod-based Convention Data Services (CDS), has been honored and recognized as one of the recipients of the 2011 “40 Under 40 Awards,” which honors distinguished businesspeople under the age of 40.
The program, created by Cape & Plymouth Business Magazine in conjunction with the Cape Cod Young Professionals and South Shore Young Professionals, spotlights the region’s top young business leaders who excel in their industry and show dynamic leadership. Abraham, along with the other winners, will be honored at a ceremony on
June 9, 2011 in Hyannis, Mass.
“I am honored to accept this award and pleased that I can participate in a program that recognizes the importance of business leadership and community service,” said Abraham, a Plymouth, Mass. resident.
Abraham is dedicated to furthering education and leadership within the tradeshow industry and serves on the Board of Directors for the New England Chapter of IAEE (International Association of Exhibitions and Events).
At Convention Data Services, Abraham is a member of the Douglas J. Fletcher Memorial Golf Tournament committee whose mission is to raise funds for the National Marine Life Center.
Additionally, he continues to demonstrate his strong commitment to community service through his positions as vice president and events chairman for the South Shore Young Professionals Association where he has helped organize events to benefit the Special Olympics, the food pantry, children’s groups and more.
