MKTG Canada is pleased to announce the appointment of Matthew Klar as vice president, strategy of MKTG Canada, a Dentsu Aegis Network brand effective immediately.

In more than five years of sponsorship industry experience Klar has made his mark on the agency and the industry, working with some of the biggest and most recognized national and global brands. He also played a lead role in launching the MKTG brand in Canada after the agency joined the Dentsu Aegis Network in 2016.
During his tenure, he has lead the launch of two new services offerings at MKTG Canada as part of their commitment to continually setting new benchmarks in client service. The first was the launch of Creative Services to augment and elevate MKTG’s experiential offering by adding specialized talent to the organization focused on enhancing ideation and design abilities. The second is the launch of Property Insights which is a specialized brand strategy practice for sponsorship properties across Canada, advising them on vision, positioning and creative development.
Klar also spearheaded MKTG Canada’s original content strategy, leading to the creation of 500+ pieces of original content reaching a network of 4,000 stakeholders including industry leaders, influencers and clients around the world.
In his new role, Klar adds to his team with two new hires as he leads the expansion of MKTG’s expanding Strategy & Creative services, while also taking on expended responsibilities within MKTG’s senior leadership team.
