Frederick, Maryland-based MeetingPlay, is pleased to welcome Becky Aramayo-Biltz, Joel Martin and Kelli Luebke to the company’s team. Each of them will work with clients and help to develop and execute custom event apps as part of the expanded sales division.
“Event tech is evolving at a rapid speed, and we want to make the process of incorporating new, customized event tech as easy as possible,” explains MeetingPlay CEO Joe Schwinger. “By expanding our sales team, we will be able to continue to provide personalized sales support, especially now as demand has grown.”
Aramayo-Biltz (pictured left) joins the team after two decades of experience in the events industry. Her extensive work in hospitality began in 1999 as a tour director at the luxurious Resort at Squaw Creek in Lake Tahoe, Calif. After being promoted to operations manager, she earned a reputation for flawless execution of events from start to finish. In 2008, she was retained by SportsMark Management to serve as production manager at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing. Then taking her talents to San Francisco, she mastered a multi-million dollar sales manager role with ACCESS Destination Services.
With her collaborative approach and customer service skills, Aramayo-Biltz works tirelessly to ensure her clients always feel well taken care of. Her plans at MeetingPlay are to offer friendly technology services that are intuitive and a practical solution to her clients.
Having conducted tradeshows for more than 15 years, Martin’s (pictured right) true passion is experiential and event marketing. He has represented several brands internationally, with an extensive background in sales, brand development and new product launches. He received a B.A. in Political Science and Marketing from the University of Florida, with certifications in International Relations and Latin American studies.
Prior to working at MeetingPlay, Martin was director of media sales at DEMN and vice president of Brightbox Charge, a VC-backed mobile kiosk amenity now found in thousands of venues worldwide. In the event technology rental industry, he has worked with brands and shows such as Coca-Cola, Panasonic, Toyota, IMG Colleges, InfoComm, PCMA, IMEX, VidCon, CES, and SXSW to name a few. He is a former board member of the International Technology Rental Association (IT-RA.org).
“Having worked in experiential marketing technology I see MeetingPlay as the next step of immersive experiences,” says Martin. “Thanks to the MeetingPlay mobile event app, the mobile device will connect to real-world hardware via access control and engagement tracking leading to actionable metrics.”
Luebke (pictured left) comes to MeetingPlay with more than 13 years of experience in sales and event management. She joins the team from Unbridled Solutions, an event management, production and creative agency, where she served as an account executive for three years. Prior to that, she was hotel sales manager with Omni Hotels and Marriott Indianapolis Place.
In addition to successfully selling a full suite of services to her clients, Luebke is an expert in venue sourcing, marketing management, production, creative design, contract negotiation and execution as well as transportation.
“Having worked side by side with MeetingPlay as a partner with a mutual client, I have seen and experienced the impeccable service and innovative technology that MeetingPlay has to offer,” says Luebke. “My goal is to expose planners to the technology we have created, and how it can help in achieving the goals of their meetings and events.”
