Meliá Hotels Int’l. Names New Dir. of Sales & Mktg. at Meliá Nassau Beach

Meliá Hotels International, Spain’s leading hotel chain, is pleased to announce Nashelly Tapia as the new director of sales and marketing of Meliá Nassau Beach – All Inclusive. Tapia brings more than 20 years of experience in the hotel industry, including four years at the company’s resorts in Los Cabos and Jamaica to the position at the Meliá Hotels & Resorts brand property on Nassau’s Cable Beach.

Nashelly was most recently the director of sales & marketing for Paradisus Los Cabos, part of Melia Hotels International’s Paradisus by Meliá brand, where she played a crucial part in opening the property in December 2016. Previously she was the acting director of sales & marketing for Meliá Braco Village in Jamaica following her role as director of sales & marketing for Meliá Cabo Real. Prior to her work within MHI, Tapia was the director of sales and marketing for Barceló Grand Faro, the associate director of sales at Barceló Los Cabos Palace Deluxe, the associate director of sales Zoëtry Paraiso de la Bonita, and the sales manager at Hoteles Solaris de México, where she began her career in the hospitality industry.

In her new role at Meliá Nassau Beach – All Inclusive, Tapia will be responsible for increasing the property’s visibility within various marketing channels and driving the hotel’s sales goals.
