Beginning September 1, an experienced professional from Messe Frankfurt’s own ranks will be taking on a vice president position. Now that Klaus Münster-Müller has been appointed to the extended board of management as chief of finance, Wolfgang Ripplinger is succeeding him as vice president corporate controlling.
“Our choice is a commitment to the excellent resources we have available within our company,” said Klaus Münster-Müller, chief of finance in the extended board of management of Messe Frankfurt. “Wolfgang Ripplinger is an experienced professional. He holds expert knowledge in the sector of international trade fair controlling, which is essential for our global success.”
This new division will contain the Corporate & Brand Controlling and Controlling Subsidiaries Exhibition departments. Ripplinger will continue to report to Klaus Münster-Müller in his new position.
“This challenge is a great chance to back up the success of Messe Frankfurt´s headquarter and its 28 subsidiaries and 50 sales partners with customers from 150 countries worldwide,” said Ripplinger
Ripplinger, 41, has a BA in business management, has been director of corporate controlling since 2001. He started out with Gemini Consulting, and was working in controlling for Henkel-Ecolab and plant manufacturer M+W Zander before coming to Messe Frankfurt.
