MG Design, which offers exhibit design along with event planning and management services, promoted an employee to global account executive.
Known as an important member of the global account management team, Katherine Simms delivered MG services around the world. In her new role, she will continue to work with MG clients to ensure their brand and tradeshow experiences deliver the same results no matter where their program takes them.
“Before coming to MG, Kate lived abroad, planning and organizing tradeshows,” said Kelli Steckbauer, director of global business, MG Design. “She understands the intricate ins and outs of international tradeshows and has the personal experience to anticipate clients’ challenges along with the expertise to solve them.”
Simms not only assists her domestic clients deliver their brands throughout the world, but she also helps emerging international brands break into the U.S. market.
She led MG’s participation and sponsorship at the International Federation of Exhibition and Event Services (IFES) World Summit in Cape Town, South Africa. There, she spoke to companies about the importance of the U.S. tradeshow industry and the impact it could have on their business.
