MGM Resorts cultivates sports market with new hire

MGM Resorts International, owner of 11 resorts on The Strip and more than three million square feet of meeting space within Las Vegas, created a new corporate sales position.

To cultivate the sports market, MGM Resorts hired Dan Rush as vice president of Global Sports & Event Sales to oversee this new area.

His responsibilities include building and developing a sports meetings and events program, targeting professional, amateur and youth sports for all MGM Resorts destinations. Focuses include sports-related associations, outdoor lifestyle tradeshows, sports marketing, sports competitions and more.
