Moment.me launches mobile event site creation service

Moment.me, an Israel-based provider of event solutions, launched a new service, enabling the simple creation of mobile microsites for any event in a matter of seconds.

These mobile sites work as ‘one-stop-pop-up-shops’ for events, collecting all the relevant information and services in one place. With five times more content than a hashtag or a location query, they allow everyone an easy, fast and free way to create their own mobile microsite for their event.

“Currently, all the online information about an event is scattered across the various websites of the promoter, the band, artist, or sports team, venue, and even on blogs and social media,” said Eilon Tirosh, chairman and co-founder, Moment.me. “With this new service, Moment.me uses smart aggregation to automatically bring all that information together in one place, allowing event organizers, bands and teams to easily create one mobile site for their event’s participants.”

Moment.me’s mobile microsites for events also serve as monetization hubs, helping to generate traffic before and after the event, boost ticket sales, and sell merchandise and services. Fully customizable, they provide one online location for organizers, brands and businesses to give event participants all the information and promotional goods and services they need for the best experience possible.

In addition, the mobile microsites offer seamless integration of social content to further engage participants. By aggregating the social media content of event attendees, using tweets, status updates, videos and photos from Instagram, Facebook, among others, Moment.me’s microsites incorporate the 360-degree digital view of the event.

“These mobile microsites will serve as a digital reflection of the event and will connect brands and event promoters more directly with their relevant audience,” said Ronny Elkayam, CEO and co-founder, Moment.me. “Our vision has always been a world where technology helps people get the most out of their real-life experiences. No matter how big or small the event, it should have a rich, mobile Web representation, and now it can.”

While the basic capability to build an event microsite will always be free, Moment.me will provide premium features for commercial events that will enhance engagement and provide additional levels of customization. Furthermore, Moment.me is engaged in strategic partnerships with ticketing companies and website builders, providing crucial live event engagement to their offerings.
