Momentum Management, Inc. has acquired American Convention Exhibitor Service, LLC (ACES). The deal adds the Philadelphia-based company to Momentum’s national labor operation.
Momentum, based in Alpharetta, Georgia, announced the acquisition as part of its expansion. The company has provided installation and dismantle labor since 1992.
“ACES has developed an unmatched reputation in the industry, making this a natural addition to Momentum,” said Randy Bott, CEO of Momentum Management.
Bott also addressed the impact of the deal.
“This acquisition strengthens our ability to provide the Elevated Experience we have built over the past 34 years to clients nationwide.”
ACES joins Momentum
ACES has served the exhibition industry since 2000. Its work includes tradeshow exhibits, museums, retail spaces, commercial interiors, sporting facilities, and gaming establishments.
The companies have also worked together for years.
“ACES and Momentum have built a successful working relationship over many years, and our shared focus on excellence makes this partnership a natural fit,” said Michael McGuckin, president of ACES.
In addition, McGuckin pointed to new opportunities for the company.
“As part of Momentum, ACES will have access to greater resources and capabilities, allowing us to pursue opportunities beyond what we could achieve independently.”
Momentum adds to its network
Momentum supports tradeshows, private events, corporate installations, retail spaces, road shows, and brand activations. According to the company, it handles projects across the United States and Canada.
Meanwhile, technology plays a role in its labor operations. Momentum uses its MMISAFE system to manage job information, estimates, and reports.
The company also uses Platinum Reporting. The system tracks project details before, during, and after assembly.
As a result of the acquisition, Momentum adds ACES’ Philadelphia operation and installation experience to its network. However, the companies did not disclose financial terms.
