Momentum Management is happy to announce the promotion of Doug Savini as their new city manager for the D.C./ Baltimore area effective September 1.
Savini joined the tradeshow industry in 2011 and hasn’t left the floor since. He worked his way through Momentum Management as a lead man in D.C./Baltimore, traveling special operations manager, and then floor manager for Momentum in the busiest tradeshow city in the world (Las Vegas).
“Doug has provided leadership, strength and commitment that helped us to grow in Las Vegas to the next level,” says Rich Carlson, regional director of operations. “His desire to lead a major market like Washington, D.C., is a great opportunity for him and for Momentum.”
Savini was born and raised in Baltimore where he grew up boating all over the Chesapeake Bay, crabbing and fishing. In 2017, he married his wife, Samantha, who moved with him to Las Vegas when Momentum sent him west.
“Bringing Doug back into the mid-Atlantic market is a very strategic move for Momentum,” says Walt McCreary, regional director of operations. “He is already familiar with our local team and our clients that exhibit in that market. Doug will be a great asset in this position.”
