Meeting Professionals International is now accepting nominations for six awards within the Recognizing Industry Success and Excellence (RISE) Awards program. Nominees should be individuals and communities that have made a significant contribution to the meetings and events industry through influence, innovation and global reach. Online nominations are currently being accepted. Completed applications and all documentation must be received by Dec. 15. The full awards program will be presented in Vancouver, BC, Canada at World Education Congress in 2010.
Individual awards include the Young Professional Achievement, Meeting Industry Leadership and Member of the Year (MPI members only). MPI chapters and communities can be nominated for awards in Community Achievement in Knowledge and Ideas, Community Achievement in Marketplace Excellence and Community-Emerging Excellence.
