MPIOC announces February meeting in California

MPIOCMeeting Professionals International Orange County (MPIOC), has announced its February 2, 2012, educational meeting. The meeting will concentrate on New Ideas for Audiences, Better Relationships with Executives: Enhance Your Value by Keeping both Attendees and Meeting Owners Happy. This interactive and dynamic presentation will highlight new ways of thinking and connecting with your attendees, while impressing your boss and meeting owners.

The speakers, Ken Kirsh and Michael Weber with Kirsh Productions, are experts and are the “Go-to Guys” in the industry. Kirsh Productions is considered an expert in all aspects of production. They have worked on six continents and have a formidable list of clients you would recognize, but they are as equally proud of what they have done for innumerable lesser-known firms and organizations.

“This is the perfect educational meeting for planners,” said Cheryl Rivas, MPIOC President. “You will learn how to get your executives and meeting owners to value your input and engage you in the early process of planning rather than just mere execution. We are also encouraging all meeting planners to bring a non-member planner as a guest as we feel this is a great opportunity to introduce the great educational meetings MPI brings each month to our members.”

The February 2 meeting will be held at Oak Creek Golf Club, located in Irvine, Calif. Oak Creek Golf Club is tied to the heritage of Orange County as part of the original 93,000-acre Irvine Ranch. Once an orange grove, the land was reinterpreted for modern-day use with careful attention to environmental sensitivity and to preserving a trace of the past
