Edlen Electrical Exhibition Services, the nation’s largest independent electrical contractor to the convention and tradeshow industry, is pleased to announce an addition to its San Francisco and San Antonio offices.
Edlen’s San Francisco office welcomed Dan Concepcion as general manager. Before joining Edlen, Concepcion served as general manager of the Monterey Conference Center, where he was responsible for the operations, financial performance, brand awareness and marketing. Concepcion served on the board of directors for the Monterey County Film Commission and the Boys and Girls Clubs of Monterey County. He is active in industry associations such as IAVM and MPI and in 2008 received the designation of Certified Facilities Executive (CFE) from IAVM. Concepcion’s career in hospitality has spanned more than 35 years and he is looking forward to his new role with Edlen.
Additionally, Edlen welcomed Julia Simmons to its San Antonio office in the role of event manager. Simmons comes to Edlen with 10 years of managerial experience and more than 15 years of customer service experience. She is excited to assist in the San Antonio team’s daily operations.
