New conference debuts for digital marketing

Digital World Expo, a new conference connecting the nation’s top digital marketers, will debut September 25-27 at the Mirage Events Center in Las Vegas, Nev. The conference will feature classes, keynotes, receptions and an exhibit hall with professional instruction and “how-to” learning experiences.

Over 30 classes with 60 sessions will be offered, covering material related to digital audiences, emerging channels, creative development and future perspectives. Topics will be customized for both novice and experienced attendees, including Internet video strategy, advergaming, behavioral targeting, social media, viral campaigns, mobile marketing, cross-platform search and more.

“This tradeshow for today’s media professional will be an educational and engaging experience,” said Shawn Rorick, event chair and conference organizer. “Attendees will walk away from this conference with knowledge they can apply directly to their company’s digital consumer audience and revenue objectives as soon as they return to the workplace.”

The exhibit hall will feature leading media publishers and service providers, including those offering next-generation technologies, for attendees to explore. Spectacles and events will occur at various times during the two-day exhibit session.

“We’ve compiled a lot of feedback from a number of seasoned interactive marketing professionals over the years to yield an educational and immersive experience going beyond what’s become a standard at conferences today. It will definitely convey how exciting our interactive media world is and what’s to come.”

The timing of the event was designed to parallel the same period many companies use to formulate decisions in media budgeting, creative development and strategy for next year. Exhibit hall entry is free for attendees who register in advance. Full-access attendance ($770 for early registration) includes classes, keynotes and social events.
