Experient, a source for integrated meeting and event solutions, appointed a strategic sales executive for the association market.
Based in Cleveland, Ohio, Dawn D. Rockas, MBA, CMP, will work with association professionals, focusing her efforts on identifying new opportunities to support the growth of Experient’s association client base.
“Dawn brings a wealth of industry knowledge with her,” said Barb Herod, CMP, vice president of Association Sales, Experient. “She possesses tenacity, innovation and an entrepreneurial drive, and we are excited to have her as part of our team.”
Bringing more than 15 years’ experience in meetings industry sales management to Experient, Rockas has spearheaded many business development and strategic account management activities for city settings, and she has cultivated numerous relationships with the small business market, corporations and Fortune 100 companies.
Rockas joins the company from the San Diego Tourism Authority where she was national sales director, Northeast region. Prior to that, she was national sales manager for Citywide Conventions and Loews Coronado Bay Resort. Rockas is a member of the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) and Meeting Planners International (MPI).
