New Orleans EMS was the sole 911 provider of EMS in Orleans Parish, and has the unique capability to use their interoperable radio system to communicate with New Orleans Police Department, New Orleans Fire Department and other municipal EMS’s throughout this region.

New Orleans EMS will provide pre-hospital emergency care to attendees during shows by staffing three permanent medical stations located throughout the convention center. They will also provide ambulance response, mobile services, advance cardiac life support, advance pediatric life support, pediatric emergency care and pre-hospital trauma life support.

New Orleans EMS is a key agency in the center’s emergency evacuation plan and is stationed immediately adjacent to the MCCNO.
