A new event coordinator has joined the staff of the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center.
Monique Augustine-Fleury is the facility’s new event coordinator and brings extensive 
experience in various aspects of marketing, including advertising, promotions, entertainment and special events. She most recently served as entertainment supervisor at Harrah’s Casino New Orleans.
Augustine-Fleury worked seven years at Bally’s Casino New Orleans, where she held the positions of human resources representative, advertising and promotions coordinator, special events manager, and marketing manager. She also served as marketing coordinator at Liberty Bank and Trust Company in New Orleans.
During her six years at Harrah’s Casino New Orleans, Augustine-Fleury honed her skills in human resources and event management as staff trainer and event coordinator. As entertainment supervisor, she managed showroom and box office operations and programmed entertainment for all property venues and special events.
Augustine-Fleury earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in marketing from Xavier University of Louisiana in New Orleans.
