Nth Degree grows an in-house department by two employees

Nth Degree, a full-service global event marketing and management company, appointed two new employees to its corporate office.

Supporting the day-to-day tasks of the Labor Operations Planning department is Kayla Griffin as labor operations planning coordinator, and Daphane Daniel as show management coordinator and customer service representative.

“The Labor Operations Planning team works as a unit to support Nth Degree’s worldwide labor management staff, and with the addition of both Kayla and Daphane, we are operating with increased efficiencies and more streamlined processes,” said Deb Stone, manager of Labor Operations, Nth Degree. “They are bright, dynamic and have already demonstrated high service standards, empathy and professionalism for our clients and internal team.”

Griffin and Daniel will work on a cross-functional team and will perform duties such as coordinating and allocating labor management assets for Nth Degree’s tradeshow clients and assisting with administrative needs for both the Planning and Show Management departments. In addition, they will support Nth Degree staff and clients on the show floor with responsibilities such as client customer service and billing, staff payroll, and vendor management and billing.

Accomplished in customer service and sales, Griffin last worked as an event coordinator and on-site event manager for Carole Parks Catering in Atlanta where she managed the logistics of events from 10-1,000 guests. Daily tasks included new business development, managing client event planning, employee report management and event invoice reconciliation and accounting. Griffin is a graduate of Georgia Southern University where she studied Restaurant, Hospitality and Meetings Management.

Daniel’s experience includes customer facing and management roles, such as her role as an assistant office manager and receptionist for Sugar Creek Animal Hospital in Duluth, Ga. Her day-to-day activities included support and management of the staff and doctor, client and patient interaction, data maintenance and organization, office supply management, and company employee retention and recruitment. As a retail sales associate, she performed essential duties under minimal supervision.
