Mount Laurel, NJ – On Location, a nationwide provider of labor and management services for exhibits, events, and environments, extends operations to Colorado, one of the fastest growing regions for live events over the past several years. The Denver-based team will be led by Regional Manager Michael Kuhnlein, an experienced hands-on leader with three decades in the industry and nearly 20 years’ expertise in I&D specifically. He is well-known for his communication style and commitment to service.
This expansion into Denver furthers the On Location nationwide footprint and allows for greater service levels for clients. However, the Mile High City is only a hub for servicing other sites in the state, including Colorado Springs, Aspen, Vail and more. Trade shows are one aspect of the company’s services and having a localized team opens the door to more with events and branded environments. Eyeing the CEDIA Expo opening September 3, 2025 as its first show, On Location is now operational.
Kuhnlein may be new to On Location, but he is more than familiar with Denver and the surrounding area having lived in the region since the 1990s. Prior to joining the OLI team, he was a City Manager with Zenith LaborNet, Momentum Management and most recently, Lancaster Management Services. Kuhnlein grew up in Southern California and earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Southern California before moving to the Denver area where he started a company with his father. He proudly served as a medic in the Army from 1978-1983 and was a high school state champion gymnast. A die-hard Broncos fan, Kuhnlein resides in Denver with his family.
According to Michael Mulry, President of On Location, “Launching into a new city is always about finding the right people to lead and Mike is that person. So, when the opportunity to expand into Denver arouse, the team acted swiftly and decisively. We went from concept to open in two weeks’ time.” Mulry added, “When you come to Colorado, you want Mike on the team, and we are excited to have him take the lead in helping On Location build great relationships across the region that will further support our clients.”
