Orbus Exhibit and Display Group, a North American supplier of display, exhibit and event solutions, will announce the groundbreaking of a new 350,000 square-feet building in Woodridge, Ill. on Sept. 27.
The company secured the 20-acre Woodridge site as the future home for its manufacturing and distribution center and partnered with McShane, a respected Chicagoland developer, to custom build the facility. In summer 2014, Orbus will consolidate and relocate its current operations from Bolingbrook and Niles, Ill. into one building.
“The magnitude of our combined Orbus operation makes us one of the largest portable and custom modular display companies in the USA,” said Giles Douglas, president and CEO, Orbus Exhibit and Display Group. “We have great excitement and expectations for what we can achieve with unified operations.”
To be designed and constructed with future expansion in mind, the new building will allow Orbus to increase the building size from 350,000 square feet to 430,000 square feet and parking spaces from 350 to 450.
A privately owned group of companies, Orbus specializes in the manufacture and trade only supply of portable modular and custom modular, exhibit and display products, graphics and solutions. Companies and brands within the group include Orbus365, SignPro Systems, Origin and Nimlok.
