Ovation Global DMC is has announced that their director of global sales has been elected to the Site International Board of Directors for a three-year term, commencing on January 1, 2012.
Aoife Delaney is the new board member. The board, which sets the programs and agenda for the incentive travel trade association, has new representatives from Spain, India and Ireland, as well as members from destinations including Argentina, China, South Africa and the United States.
Since joining Site in 2007, Delaney has played an active role within the organization; participating in Site Ireland Chapter events and serving as co-chair of the Site Young Leaders Committee 2009-2010. In 2011, she was chair of Site’s International Conference in Las Vegas.
“Being part of Site has been hugely educational for me and I am really excited to take the opportunity to join the Board of Directors,” said Delaney. “Site Young Leaders is a passion of mine, and I hope to bring some value to the wonderful programs created by the team to educate and support young people coming into this industry.”
