PCC Appoints Lenka Žlebková as CEO

Prague Congress Center has appointed Lenka Žlebková as CEO. Her goal is to make PCC one of the most important convention centers in Europe. She also plans on developing the public area around the center, especially the planned construction of the new exhibition hall.

Žlebková has been involved in convention tourism since 2008 when she was elected as a member of the board of directors of the Prague Convention Bureau; in 2010 she was appointed director and in 2016 became the vice–chairman of the board. During this time, she moved Prague from 19th to 10th place on the ICCA database of world destinations. She won Prague’s candidacy for ICCA in 2017, at PCC, and it lists among the top three best-rated conventions in the 57 years of ICCA’s history. In 2016, she joined PCC as sales and marketing director, contributing to revenue growth, rebranding and modernization of the center.

“The new director succeeded in the selection process from more than 100 candidates,” says Pavel Vyhnánek, shareholder deputy and deputy mayor of Prague. “She is a professional with many years of experience in the field and she has a strategic approach. In addition, as a sales and marketing director, she managed to achieve excellent business results.” According to Vyhnánek, the time has come for the Prague Congress Center to contribute to change the structure of foreign visitors coming to Prague. “If more people come to Prague for congresses, the city center will focus on them, offering more sophisticated services than the beer tours.”

“One of my priorities will be to change the corporate culture because I believe that the more satisfied employees are, the more satisfied clients we have,” says Žlebková in her new position.

Žlebková will replace Pavel Habarta, a member of the board of directors temporarily assigned to manage the company since April last year. Habarta will remain a member of the board of directors.

Besides work, she devotes her life to her three sons and her husband. She loves music, dancing and singing.

Prague Congress Centre is the largest convention center in the Czech Republic, offering 70 halls and lounges for small and large conventions, and includes equipment of the highest standards. Including the Business Centre Vyšehrad and the four star Holiday Inn PCC, the convention center has access to the nearby city center and a beautiful view of historical Prague. PCC was awarded with a prestigious award Superbrands 2019 and EKO Gold Certificate for drawing energy from renewable sources. For more info, visit www.praguecc.com
